The MIBA hosted a defense delegation from Israel in partnership with the Israel Ministry of Defense’s Directorate for International Cooperation (SIBAT). A diverse set of six companies accompanied three senior leaders from the SIBAT for four days of meetings, events, and activities that connected them with potential customers, partners, and resources in Michigan that can help them “Make it in Michigan”.
The jam-packed itinerary included meetings with state and regional partners and associations, visits to Michigan defense manufacturing companies, a roundtable discussion with leaders from the Ground Vehicle Systems Center, and an afternoon of curated meetings with 24 different Michigan-based companies to discuss collaboration opportunities. In total, 214 connections were made between delegates and Michigan business leaders. The delegates left with a much deeper understanding of how to be successful in the US with the help of Michigan partners.
