Accelerating Mobility Innovation at the EcoMotion Ecosystem Gathering

Written by Liza Yedwab, MIBA Manager of Israel Operations

The MIBA Israel team was thrilled to attend the EcoMotion Ecosystem Gathering, an inspiring innovation and networking event that brought together top innovators, industry leaders, startups, tech companies, and investors to explore the future of mobility.

The event featured insightful discussions from industry experts, including ESIL-Climate Tech Venture Lab, Konnect Innovation Hub, Egged Innovation, and Migdal Group, who shared their perspectives on today’s most pressing mobility challenges. Four innovative startups—ReFresh Global, Golem Innovations, aiola, and Acist—showcased their cutting-edge solutions through engaging lightning-round pitches. We also gained valuable insights into how the EcoMotion community collaborates to accelerate sustainable, digitalized, efficient, and secure mobility.

A key highlight was the EcoMotion team’s launch of the innovative Mobility Challenge Map. This forward-thinking framework outlines four Driving Forces shaping mobility innovation: Sustainability & Decarbonization, Digitalization, Efficiency & Optimization, and Safety.

Developed with input from industry leaders and key reports, the Mobility Challenge Map identifies 11 challenge areas and 29 critical challenges, bridging the gap between innovation and market needs. It serves as a strategic tool to align urban mobility challenges with existing and emerging technological solutions, fostering collaboration opportunities to address these issues collectively.

We are excited and looking forward to continuing our collaboration efforts to bring cutting-edge Israeli Mobility innovations to Michigan!
