The delegation, consisting of Michigan State Senators and State Representatives, representatives from the JFMD (Jewish Federation of Metro Detroit), the JVS (Jewish Vocational Services) and Partnership 2000 program, received a presentation and tour of the Tamor manufacturing facility.

Central issues presented and discussed during the visit were the applicability of Tamor’s technological capabilities and know-how, its interest in identifying suitable partners and to work jointly with American manufacturers in the ongoing recovery and growth of the vehicle industry - particularly in the State of Michigan where Tamor already has strong ties.

Following on the heels of Governor Jennifer Granholm’s Economic Mission to Israel in November 2008, this delegation’s visit is part of the ongoing process to strengthen partnership ties between Israeli enterprises and the State of Michigan.
